We realize that your move is different than any other move we handle, and your furniture, pictures, and other items may have sentimental value to you, or require special handling.
Our in-home estimates include packing supply charges, extra charges such as stairs, long carry, etc, and are usually within 95% of the actual total.
It is for this reason that we ask to setup a visual estimate whenever possible. This contact gives us the ability to not only go over or service and rates, but also identify and address any special concerns that you may have for your move, and ensure that when our company handles the move, there will be no hidden costs or surprises.
About the Inspection
A few tips that can help with this visual inspection are below:

While showing the items you are moving, be sure to point out items in need of special packing, care, or tools for disassembly

Full or partial packing services are available, be sure to speak with your estimator about your packing needs! The back page of this booklet lists our packing supplies, along with their costs

During your visual estimate, be sure to give your estimator information about the delivery location, if possible. Things such as stairs, truck access, elevator reservations, and long distances may influence your final price, by informing us beforehand, we can take the steps needed to ensure that your move and delivery go smoothly
After the Inspection

When speaking with your consultant, please offer feedback on your experience with our estimator

Your consultant will go over our estimator's impression of your move, any special packing or shipping needs, and other generalities

your consultant will offer you our estimate of this move, including the final estimate of price. In the majority of our cases, this is a flat-rate price for your total move.

Should you change any portion of the inventory, the final price may change!
